The File menu contains commands which allow you to process text files containing large numbers of coordinates, or to exit the program.

Exit

Open…

The Open command allows you to select a text file containing coordinates to be processed. It begins the file processing dialog by bringing up a standard File Open dialog box that you can use to select the file to be read. For more information, see the descriptions of File Processing, or of the File Processing user interface.

Create File Header…

The Create File Header command allows you to create a coordinate file header for a specified datum and coordinate reference system, along with any associated parameters. It begins the input file header generation dialog by bringing up the Create File Header window, which is identical to the lower half of the File Processing window.

Load Settings

The Load Settings command allows you to set the current format options, input and output datum selections, input and output coordinate reference system selections, and any associated parameter values, to the settings previously stored in the settings file, which is located in the data directory.

Save Settings

The Save Settings command allows you to save the current format options, input and output datum selections, input and output coordinate reference system selections, and any associated parameter values, to the settings file, which is located in the data directory.

Exit

The Exit command immediately terminates the application, causing the main window to disappear.

Edit

The Edit menu contains conventional text editing commands which allow you to cut, copy, and paste text into and out of text fields in the interface.
